Standard Grade fabric tanks are tested to 5 psi during quality control tests. No glue or chemical bonding is used, as those techniques are prone to leaks. The seam’s strength equals the fabric strength, and is maintenance free. CONSTRUCTIONĮlectro Fuse Welding, using precision dies, electronically fuses all seams. Compared to Standard Grade: Not as soft and user friendly and will take up about 30% more space folded and about 30% heavier. Recommended to users of jet fuel and others operating in harsh envronments. Suitable for Avgas and Kerosene (jet fuel). However, STANDARD GRADE is not recommended for kerosene.ĮXTRA GRADE fabrics are heavy duty. Suitable for Avgas, and chosen by some users for Kerosene (jet fuel) as well, due to it’s user-friendly characteristics up to 529 gallons. STANDARD GRADE fabrics are soft fabrics, easy to fold, compact and lightweight. Only after all tests and inspections are passed satisfactorily, is the Tank issued a Quality Assurance and Acceptance Certificate.
